A world premiere will be celebrated at the booth of Norwegian manufacturers VISITECH AS (hall 3, booth H 49): The LUXBEAM® Light Engine model 4710 LUNA, a new, compact light engine for industrial DLP micro-display applications, will be introduced to the market for the first time. The new module will also be presented to media representatives at the OPTATEC press conference on the 15th of June at 11 a.m.
Thanks to the latest developments in the field of LED technology and ultramodern display functions, projection technology can now be rendered more compact than ever before.
VISITECH takes advantage of this technology – microdisplays as well as light engines – for developments in technological industrial applications such as medical engineering, lithography, 3D measuring technology etc. The light engine is optimised for use with 7" diagonal displays, and its size corresponds nearly to the dimensions of the DMD satellite boards currently used in DLP formatter electronics. The optical system is laid out for optimised light efficiency and outstanding light spread uniformity, and can be operated with high-performance LEDs as well as with other light sources. The R&D focal point stresses an optimised cost-benefits ratio.
The new product introduction is a further step forward in VISITECH’s pursuit to continuously expand their range of modules for industrial microdisplay applications. In general, system development is focused on compact size, exceptional light performance and uniform light spread. The standard variants can be equipped with F-mount lenses, but customer-specific lens-mounts are also easy to implement.
