With a variable concept for promoting trade fairs and exhibitions, Messe Sinsheim is considered Germany’s most important private trade fair venue. Managing directors are Paul Eberhard Schall and Bettina Schall.

Messe Sinsheim GmbH was founded in 1989 by Paul Eberhard Schall as an affiliate of renowned trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH on 860,000 square feet which were previously occupied by a manufacturing company. In the years that followed, infrastructure advantages were exploited in order to launch new specialised trade fairs, and to continuously expand the trade fair facilities in response to prevailing demand. During the course of three construction phases, Messe Sinsheim expanded from 105,000 to 430,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space in six trade fair halls. An adjoining convention centre offers ultramodern space and seminar technology for 2000 participants.

At the moment, Messe Sinsheim GmbH employees 17 persons in the areas of project management, technology, bookkeeping and marketing.

Messe Sinsheim GmbH is an affiliate of renowned private trade fair promoters P.E. Schall GmbH. In order to assure that each and every event runs smoothly and professionally, Messe Sinsheim works together in close cooperation with numerous regional service providers. Zentsch-Catering GmbH provides for the physical well being of exhibitors and guests, and Dörner Elektro & Motoren GmbH is responsible for light and electrical power. Deutsche Telekom makes sure that the exhibitors can be reached by means of electronic media including Internet, telephone and fax. Where booth construction is concerned, Messe Sinsheim works together with Wolfgang Bastian, Sinsheimer Messebau and bluepool AG. Compex Team Dieter Merz is also available for complex sign lettering. SCHENKER Deutschland AG ensures that all of the goods needed at each event are trucked in and shipped back out again in a trouble-free fashion. GUARD Sicherheitsdienst is responsible for security in and around the trade fair halls, and Kurpfalz Gebäudereinigung cleans the booths and halls during the events. Ritzhaupt provides exhibitors with running water and M.S.D. Mietmöbel creates a comfortable atmosphere in the trade fair halls with individualised rental furniture.

Messe Sinsheim GmbH is an affiliate of highly successful trade fair promoters P.E. Schall GmbH and has its own exhibition centre in Sinsheim, at which trade fairs organised by the company itself currently take place including Echtdampf-Hallentreffen, Faszination Motorrad, Faszination Modellbau, Agri Historica, AirLight and Druck+Form. In addition to these, a growing number of guest and company events are being held at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre as well, for example the DIGA gardening trade fair, the FLORIAN trade fair for fire brigades, fire and disaster control, and BAUMESSE. Now that the large technical trade fairs, i.e. Motek, Control and Blechexpo, have relocated to the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre due to continuously growing demand for more and more floor space, the Schall group of companies is once again introducing new events at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre such as EDMexpo and EnerFair, which will be launched and developed there in the usual, time tested fashion.
Messe Sinsheim GmbH not only organises trade fairs at its own exhibition centre, but rather in cologne, Friedrichshafen and Bremen in the meantime as well. Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen and Faszination Modellbau Bremen are highly successful model building trade fairs “powered by Messe Sinsheim” which are based upon the proven concept of Faszination Modellbau Sinsheim. The Cologne Echtdampf-Treffen, an offshoot of the well-known Echtdampf-Hallentreffen in Sinsheim, is also promoted by Messe Sinsheim once every two years.

Highly Respectable Results
More than a quarter of a million visitors attended events at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre during the year 2007, and 1800 national and international exhibitors presented their products. An additional 40,000 visitors attended the guest events held at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre in 2007.
