Plastic Model Building Meet in Friedrichshafen

Once again in 2019, PMC-Bodensee e.V. will organise the International Plastic Model Building Days and demonstrate just how multifaceted this type of model making is. The most important difference to so-called functional model building is that attention is focused primarily on the craftsmanship of even the finest of details.

PMC-Bodensee e.V., along with its members, associated clubs and individual exhibitors from all over Europe, is a permanent fixture within the setting of Faszination Modellbau. A highly diverse programme will be offered in the exhibition area during the three-day event.

A large special exhibition entitled “The World in Miniature” is dedicated to dioramas.

Within this context, the “70 Years of Preiser Figures” anniversary will be honoured with a presentation which points out the company’s most important milestones.

A special show with illuminated spaceships represents a further highlight.

Beyond this, workshops with renowned diorama builder Bernhard Lustig will be held on Friday the 1st of November 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 to 5 p.m.

Children between the ages of 8 and 14 will be able to assemble various miniature construction kits or houses from Gebr. FALLER GmbH under the guidance of experienced club members, and take them home. Detailed information about times can be found on the programme board at the PMC-Bodensee booth. The club and its friends are looking forward to your visit!
